Features
The core system features of Business Central provide a platform for managing
and developing business. The backbone of the system means facilities are
already available to create and manage many different types of data with
a uniform approach.
The fully interactive demonstration shows how Key4
has utilised Business Central for communication with customers and suppliers,
development of feature rich and powerful websites, and for managing client
networks. These very 3 different service areas run seamlessly alongside
each other providing simplicity and convenience in one web-based solution.

How Are These Features Used?
These features can be used to manage and utilise almost any kind of data
that can be contained in database, a few examples of how Key4 has utilised
BC:
Websites
The entire Key4 website is powered by BC. All pages are powered through
one template, whilst page headings and footers, navigation bars, case studies,
image galleries, newsletters, knowledge base articles and frequently asked
questions are all created simply from one web-based control panel.
Network Management
All client networks maintained by the Key4 'Networking Team' are managed
through BC. Client backup and anti-virus applications report activity directly
to BC which queues work based on priority and presents it to the networking
team. Similarly clients can log support calls either by phone, email or
online.
All customers can directly login to BC to check the status of any open
or closed item with Key4, as well as receiving informative emails about
their networks position, and status of critical services.
