Space is the amount of materials [pictures, files, etc.] you can put on your Web site. Available space is listed in megabytes (MB). As a frame of reference, a single letter takes up one byte. Other things such as pictures and programs can get quite big.

Your scripts, web site logs & statistics will also take up space. The amount of space you have in use can be monitored from your account control panel.

Bandwidth Transfer is the amount of data or information that visitors to your site can download before you reach your monthly limit. Transfer is listed in gigabytes (billions of bytes).

For example if you have 1 file that is 1 Mb and 100 people download the file it will use 100Mb of your available bandwidth use. Bandwidth usage is monitored in Gigabytes. 1 Gigabyte is equivalent to 1000 Megabytes.

POP3 Email accounts are the number of users who can have mailboxes stored on Key4's servers. These users will be able to access their mail accounts through a program such as Microsoft Outlook, or online through Key4's web mail service.

Email Forwarders are the number of email addresses that can be created and automatically forwarded to another address. For example, the address sales@yourdomain.co.uk may forward to username@yourdomain.co.uk.

Autoresponders are automatic messages sent back to the sender. For example an order received by email to order@yourdomain.com could autorespond with an 'Order Confirmation' email saying the order has been received.

Web-based email allows users to access their mail online from any Internet Connection with a suitable Internet browser. This is a standard feature of all POP3 mail accounts on our system.
